Like sands through the hourglass so are the days of our lives. During class we were asked to figure out what kind of media consumer were we?

Well, after thinking about my daily activities and what I do when I am relaxing....I realized that I possibly watch entirely too much t.v. As I feel it is ok to be obsessed with Project Runway, Days of our Lives and CSI, I found myself watching t.v. just to wait for these shows to come on. I will put on the t.v. as backround music. I fall asleep to t.v. and watch it while I do my homework.

I read the Spartan Daily faithfully, however, mostly for the crossword puzzles. I browse through the paper, yet dont often read the articles on the second page.

I like magazines, and find that this is the second or third major form of media I consume. I grab magazines while at the grocery store and other places. I mainly read Cosmopolitian, Life & Style and US Weekly. I like to look through the Design magazine s well as Real Estate mags.

Regarding music, I usually only listen to music while driving in my car.

I do however, enjoy blockbuster. I watch many movies as well as have a extremely large DVD collection. I rent movies, and if I like them I will purchase them.

I use the internet often, but mostly to check my email and such. I do not sit and browse the internet for long.

I cant imagine not having the forms of media we do now. Life would be strange if I couldnt watch CSI, or read up on celebrity new in the magazines I buy. What would all the websters do? I think our generation would be lost if things like Ipods andMySpace were never invented. Our society is deeply tied and revolve around media consumption.
